Skipping breakfast means that you are putting yourself at a greater risk for diseases. Breakfast skippers can have an increased risk for hypertension, heart attacks, obesity, and Type 2 diabetes.

Did you ever notice the smell coming out of your mouth when you skip breakfast? Well, you can avoid bad breath by eating something in the morning.

You also deprive your body of vital nutrients like vitamins and fiber that can get you through the day. Long-term health effects can arise due to the lack of these nutrients. If you are not hungry right away after waking up, you can wait for an hour or so before eating something healthy.

You might have heard people complaining about dizziness and headaches late in the morning. Many of those have skipped breakfast resulting in a lack of glucose reaching their brain.

Acidity is another issue associated with a “no breakfast” routine. Your body releases stomach acid for digestion, and when there is no food to digest, the quantity of this acid does not decrease. This, in turn, leads to acidity.

A protein-rich breakfast can be quite beneficial during the early hours of the day. Foods that are rich in protein, like eggs, will keep your energy levels during the day.

A balanced anti-inflammatory breakfast is the right way to commence your day.

Your blood sugar levels experience a negative effect if you are not eating breakfast every day. Your mood might be affected as well your energy level will reduce when the blood sugar levels drop.

Not consuming a healthy breakfast can make you go for unhealthy choices such as doughnuts. This will be a poor choice considering they are loaded with sugar.

An advantage of skipping breakfast is that good bacteria grow in your body. This will result in fat burning and muscle mass improvement since fat is being used as a fuel instead of sugar.
