On 27th March, Italy reported 969 deaths due to COVID-19. It is the highest daily figure in the current outbreak of Coronavirus.
A total of 9134 people have died from Coronavirus in Italy so far. Italy is the worst affected country in Europe. Everything has been closed, and people are told to stay home in self-isolation.
A few days ago, authorities in Italy warned that these restrictions might extend beyond 3rd April 2020.
Lombardy, which is the hardest-hit region of Italy, saw a sudden increase in the number of deaths from COVID-19. On Thursday, the country saw a decline in the number of cases and deaths that raised hopes for the country.
Due to the pandemic, there’s a fear all around the globe. The whole world is hit pretty hard, but Italy’s mortality rate is on the highest side.
Meanwhile, Spain is the second worst-hit country in Europe. Spain has seen a sharp rise in the number of deaths, but the country also witnessed stability and a decrease in the rate of infection spread.
In 24 hours, the total number of people who died in Spain is 796. The Spanish government has imposed a state of emergency until 12th april.
In other news, Prime minister of UK, Boris Johnson, was tested positive for the COVID-19.
