Clostridium bacteria are a reason for this severe disease, which can enter the body through a deep cut or a burn. It can affect your central nervous system. Common symptoms include tightening of the muscles, difficulty swallowing. There is no treatment for tetanus. Vaccines are used as prevention.
5-DIARHHEA:
Diarrhea is characterized as loose, watery stools three or more times a day. It can cause food intolerance like lactose intolerance, viral, or bacterial infections. It can easily be treated at home by drinking plenty of fluids and follow the BRAT diet (banana, rice, applesauce, and toast).
6-TYPHOID:
The cause of typhoid is bacteria Salmonella typhi, transmitted through contaminated food and drinking water. It can be fatal with high fever, diarrhea, and vomiting. Antibiotic therapy is the only effective treatment for typhoid fever.
7- INFLUENZA:
The influenza virus infects every other person. Influenza, commonly known as flu, can be mild to severe. Symptoms include runny nose, fever, sore throat, muscle pain, headache. It can usually be treated by plenty of fluids, and if it’s severe, go for antiviral medications prescribed by doctors.
8-MENINGITIS:
Meningitis is the viral, bacterial, or fungal infection causing inflammation of the protective layers of the brain and spinal cord. Meningitis can be treated with intravenous antibiotics or intravenous antiviral medications. It can kill in hours if severe. The best way to prevent it is through vaccination.
9- CHOLERA:
Cholera is caused by Vibrio cholera, a harmful bacterium which multiplies rapidly in the intestine. It results in severe watery diarrhea, which can lead to dehydration and even death if untreated. Boil your water before drinking; it can kill pathogens and save your life.
10- AFRICAN TRYPANOSOMIASIS:
It is commonly known as sleeping sickness; a bite of tsetse fly can lead you to death because this disease affects your neurons, and it can be fatal. Fever, headaches, extreme fatigue are the common symptoms of this disease. It can be treated by medications that kill protozoan parasites of Trypanosoma species.
