Average age Rate

There is no doubt that our average age rate is dropping every year and in the coming years, it will drop to an extreme level. Our food, health sectors, drugs, alcohol, suicides, diseases, all play a major role in the decline of our average age.

Suicide, a death of despair has become one of a leading death cause among the others. The suicide death rate has risen up to 60% globally since the past 45 years. Mental disorders are mostly the cause of suicidal deaths and the youth falls into this category in a large number.

Another leading cause is drug overdose.  Globally, recent estimated results showed how drugs death rate rose up to 307,400 deaths in 2015, from 165,000 deaths in 1990. Especially our youth indulges into unhealthy habits, promoted by social media and television that leads to fatal problems. Consistent use of drugs from the age 15-24 is very common these days in both male and female. It causes lung diseases, liver and brain damages, seizures, strokes and mental disorders.

Over a decade, 8% of men from age 25-34 and 11% of women of the same age have been increasing yearly for chronic liver disease. Mostly alcohol and obesity are its main causes. Studies show how alcohol’s excessive consumption decreases a person’s age by 20 years. Excessive alcoholism leads to brain damage, liver diseases and gastrointestinal bleeding which can kill you earlier than expected.

An unhealthy habit of eating junk and fast food has become a common practice in the modern era. It gives birth to a disease called obesity. Obesity can lead to chronic diseases, cancer, diabetes, heart attacks and stroke. An estimate of 5 to 20 years of life is cut down from extremely obese patients.

In some states, very young and elderly people are not properly taken care of. They are mostly killed by flu in winters because of poor health sectors, meaning there is no proper care or environment for the patients in need. Every year, infant life is decreasing because of great poverty among the pregnant women, few midwives, no proper check-ups and poor hospital or ambulance services.

Why do people go for smoking, alcohol, drugs, poor diet and suicide? Sure, we all know these things take us nowhere but towards a path of destruction. These poor choices are made because of poor living conditions, no insurance, no source of income and lack of government attention towards the needy. Common diseases are becoming a cause of death, as people lack enough money for regular health check-ups.

People pay less attention to their food, no check-in balance for what is going into their bodies. Some chemicals used in preservatives can cause harm to the human body, causing cancer, obesity, heart diseases and high blood pressure. Colon and pancreatic cancer occur when nitrosamines are produced upon mixing of nitrites and stomach acid. Sodium nitrites are used for adding colour and flavour to the preserved meat.

If we can control the certain factors which are causing early deaths among people, we can control the decline in the average age rate as well.
